Can I use Crisis Cleanup to Manage Volunteers?

Not at this time. We've found that most voluntary organizations are very good at managing their own volunteers. We see no need to build a system that already seems to be working.
We are working on strategies to identify and manage large number of spontaneous unaffiliated volunteers (SUVs) that may happen to stumble across Crisis Cleanup by accident. While we don't particularly want to be in the business of managing large numbers of SUVs, we recognize that it's just a matter of time before Crisis Cleanup is mentioned on some major news outlet, and streams of volunteers visit the site... we're trying to figure out what we'll do with them then.
